  QuickTime w/ viz code

  Hello-

  Does anyone know the easiest way to export a quicktime file from FCP with visual time code on the actual movie. I thought/think it can be done…

  I usually use the timecode reader or timecode generator filters in the video filters folder. But if I’m just looking for it to match the sequence, then sometimes it works just to export to a file that will keep the timecode track and then just change QuickTime Player’s counter to timecode instead.

  Put a time code reader on your clips or put a slug above your timeline and put a time code generator, crop it to remove the black. Render then export. Which one you use depends if you want clip tc or sequence tc.
