    How does one use a composition from one After Effects project in a totally different After Effects project. I seem to recall that we used to be able to open more than one AE application at a time, and drag compositions between them (could be wrong). Anyhow, AE 7.0 doesn’t seem to open more than once on my computer. I’d like to get compositions out of one AE project without rendering.

    Import the AEP that has the composition you want into the AEP that you want the composition in =)
