How can I distort the audio voice over in final cut pro?

it depends on what you want to do, you can use audio filters from your browser window, use speed controls to slow down or speed up, you can stripe audio a couple of times, with different effects on each track, even having some a few frames behind for an echo effect…alternately you could export the audio to another audio app then reimport to fcp.
