  Problem exporting to iDVD (trust me, I’ve read other threads)

  Ok, I know that everyone says for best quality DVD, EXPORT as Quicktime Movie with ‘current settings’ and all that jazz. But no matter HOW beautiful and crisp my timeline footage is, the exported video is trash. It’s pixelated- BADLY pixelated. When I drag the movie clip into iDVD, the final product is just as bad.

  I’ve only been able to get it working when I export using Quicktime conversion then iDVD.

  Has anyone gone through this? Does anyone know what’s going on?

  What format is your original footage? What are your timeline settings?
  Is it graphics that look bad or reguler video to?
  Why not encode with compressor and use DVD Studio Pro? (gives you much much more controle)

  There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
  Don’t let technology get in the way of your creativity!
