  Auto Duck from Avid to FCP

  I have a project from Avid Express Pro, I have the project file and bins brought it into my Mac FCP system. The Avid Express Pro system is on a Windows system.

  I go to “import using Auto Duck” on FCP and it seems like FCP can’t see the Avid project file, it’s all greyed out, and I can’t select the Avid file.

  What’s up with that? Is there a step I’m missing? Is there some thing on the Avid end that needs to happen to prepare it for FCP?

  You don’t import the project file. You import an OMF or AAF from the Avid project.
