Mixing formats, getting interlaced footage on 1080i60
I’m putting together a montage for a DVD reel, and the different clips I’m putting in are mostly in different formats. I just set the sequence to Uncompressed 10 bit, and after rendering, everything worked fine for some files (compression settings were uncompressed 8 bit, sorensen video 3, and none), but a few clips I have shot in 1080i60 all come up interlaced. The frame rate in the sequence is the same as everything in 1080i60, so I don’t think it has to do with that. I don’t really want to make the sequence HD since I’ll be burning to a SD dvd. I tried removing advanced pulldown, and it says there are no clips with pulldown that can be removed.
I’m still at sort of a basic level, so I may just be confused about something. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
