1 black frame after EDIT-TO-TAPE.
Posted by Max Christensen on January 27, 2009 at 3:20 pmHi guys! This is my first time ever.
I’m having a bit of trouble when i edit-to-tape. I overlay some clips onto digibetas trough IO. when i pick an in-point, and insert the movie-clip, it sometimes makes 1 black frame at the end of the clip on the digi-beta… Any idea why?

January 27, 2009 at 3:41 pmI’ve had this happen before when doing an insert edit on a DBeta. It’s been awhile, but I think I rebooted the machine and everything was fine.

January 28, 2009 at 5:05 pmI’m not really using an in&out point. And neither do i punch in or out on the edit-window.
…just an inpoint. And the clip as long as it outta be.
Jeremy G? …have you any experience in why Boris shuts the entire FCP programme down all of a sutten?
It’s mainly when i preform some comandos in the Boris text window. Please advice, my Jedi master.

Well, I’d try it. Put an out point and see what you get. ALso, what kind of deck are you using and do you have black burst?

No, I don’t. I think there’s preferences to Boris. You might want to try trashing those. There’s also a Boris forum here at the cow.

Ha! You mean more like r2d2 flying on the back of an X-Wing leading jedi’s to battle while I beep and bloop.
