Have a problem with a client that is working in an older version of AVID that doesn’t support Sony EX1 import software.

Shot HD files 1080i 29.97 of corporate event. Sent BPAV folders with all information, but they are unable to import.

Sent them 1080i 29.97 KONA DVCPro HD files as quicktime movies. They could not import.

Should I sent imported FCP files that are quicktime?

They are requesting AVID DNxHD Coden 1920×1080.

Can FCP do this kind of export?

    What to do…please help.

    Thank you,

    Rich

I know you could transcode those to DNXHD with mpeg stream clip.
google it if you don’t have it.

If you download the latest Avid Codecs, you can use Compressor to convert them to Avid DNX
