  Missing Firewire

  SYSTEM- G5 / OS X 10.4.11 / FCP 6.0.5 / Quicktime 7.5.5

  Help! Can you offer me any advice?
  Final Cut Pro can’t find Firewire device. Firewire Missing.
  Here’s somethings I’ve tried.
  Trashed Quicktime Receipts and re-installed Quicktime (7.5.5).
  Trashed FCP Prefs with FCP Rescue 6.
  Tried opening a camera & a deck in IMovieHD.. My Camera opened. Then using same cable and inputs, my Deck did not. Final Cut does not recognize ether Deck or camera.
  Tried different Firewire cable. Tried running firewire device through Computers Firewire connection. Worked fine.

  Should I try Quicktime 6? If so, where do I get it?
