  • File error issue when importing

Posted by Paul Donahue on January 15, 2009 at 12:04 pm

I am getting a screwy file error when importing a quick time file from After Effects into a FCP project. The error message is:

File Error: 1 file recognized, 0 access denied, 1 unknown.

I have been importing files from After Effects with no problem until now. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem and what can be done to solve it? Thanks in advance.

    What format is the file?

Does it have the .mov extension after it?

What format are you editing in?

It has been exported out of After Effects as a Quick Time using the Animation Compression Type and is a .mov file. I am using FCP 6.0.5.
