  • Looking for a quick key

    My boss is describing a quick key that he saw in a tutorial on Lynda.com but he doesn’t remember it and now i am trying to figure it out .

    He describes it as: When you have video on a track synced with audio you can do a quick key to move the video up a track without unlinking the video from its audio tracks or moving the audio tracks in the timeline.

    If anyone can help i would appreciate it.

    I don’t know the key approach, but if you lock the audio track(s) when you move the video the audio should stay put.

    Option click to unlink the video from the audio. Hold the option key and press the up arrow. It will move the video onto the track above if it’s empty. Same works for the audio using the down arrow.
