    Happy Holidays,

Where do I look to find the sample rate of one of my tapes. I imported a clip from a tape that I shot footage using the canon xl-1. The problem is, when I import footage using my hvx-200, I get a dialogue box stating that my source tape and my audio capture rates are different. I check my audio setup and it’s the same as all my other clips: 1 mono/ 16 Bit integer.

THis problem causes my audio and video to go out of sync. How can I fix this?

    Thanks for any assistance

Usually when you play the tape back in the camera the sample rate is displayed with in the information in the viewscreen.

    All the best,

    Tom

    Thanks Tom,

I see that my tape audio rate is set to 32k whereas my capture presets are 16k. If I change the capture presets, will that effect the other clips audio? I will try doing so, I just wanted another’s opinion before I do something like disrupt the other audio files.
