  Best consumer hard-disk video camera for FCP

  I’m trying to find a decent consumer hard-disk based video camera available on the market which record to files that can be directly imported into Final Cut Pro 6 (without converting the file) … is there such a camera?

  No consumer cameras will do this, but you can buy a separate recorder.

  Thanks Sean, I found out that on Premier it is possible to use the native file format directly from consumer type video camera, but i’m not a big fan of premier …. when is apple gonna take their applications seriously??
