HVX 200 1080 24pa footage importing ast 29.97
Hi,
Sorry to post on a commonly talked about subject, but none of the other posts I’m finding seem to be helping me out. I have some 108024PA (I assume it’s PA, P2CMS says the pulldown is 2:3:3:2), shot on an HVX 200A.
When I Log and Transfer the footage in FCP 6.0.4, I have the Remove Duplicate Frames box checked off. When it puts the QT wrapper on my MXF footage, the files in my bin end up as 29.97. I tried bringing that footage to Cinema Tools to do the Reverse Telecine, but when I bring it in there, the Reverse Telecine option is greyed out.
To make matters worse, I didn’t notice this problem until well into the editing process. So I assume I’ll have to scrap what I’ve done if I want to edit in a true 24p (which I guess will be 23.98?).
Can anyone help me out in getting this to 24p or 23.98?
