  How to bring back the consolidated project…

  Hi…

  I had a project A on my Mac. But I needed to work on my laptop so I created a duplicate project B using the Media Manager into my USB hard disk.

  Now I have made changes to the time-line in project B on the USB hard disk.

  And now I want to transfer project B back into A…just the time-line.

  Is there a way to do this ?? without copying the entire project folder ( QT’s and render files )…because 99% OF THE SOURCE CLIPS ARE THE SAME.

  You can export it as an XML. then import that into the project you want to use.

  Hi Dan.

  I tried the XML import/ export thing, but it still couldn’t connect the clips from my project in the USB hard disk to the same exported project (via XML) in my internal hard disks.

  I tried both the options, i.e select master clips outside selection etc…But still the XML searches for the clips in the USB, instead of connecting to the ones in the internal HDD.

  My only option now is to copy the entire project from the USB to the internal HDD.

  Is there any other option ?
