  • From a DVD to Final Cut Pro – what is the best way to get footage?

    Hi,
I am editing an acting reel for a client, and I can’t figure out the best way to get footage from the movie onto my computer and into Final Cut Pro. I’ve tried Mac the Ripper but I haven’t had much luck. Handbrake won’t open on my computer, and VisualHub doesn’t seem to be the right program. Help?
    Thanks,
    Mike

MPEG Streamclip is what you want.

    All the best,

I usually get pretty good results using MPEG Streamclip.
