distorted layer on export
Hi everyone,
I am finishing a simple composite which consists of one video layer with one graphic overlay on top of it. The overlay is 30% transparent and, when rotated, makes a basic little spinning pinwheel color effect on the video layer below it. The video layer is 1440×1080 and the graphic is 1440×1440.When I export the video, the graphic layer is squashed to meet the 1440×1080 frame size, distorting the round pinwheel into a sort of wobbly, oblong shape. I realize that there is a problem with the graphic layer being 1440×1440, but all attempts I have made to “tell” Compressor to crop it rather than distort it do not work. Anybody have any idea how to make this work?
As an added frustrating bonus, when I export the video with letterbox, the graphic displays properly.
The distorted video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pve3QvA-qZo
and the letterboxed, non-distorted version is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBdT6R7Ys-8
Thank you in advance, anyone who can help!
