i have a whole bunch of mpeg1 files with audio in them but when i import to final cut pro WHOOP and the audio is gone!!!…. so i check them out in the quicktime player and i see they’re muxed… is this why? do i have to un mux?? i think i do…. i may already know this and have forgotten but it would be good if anyone could put me straight…
also i have an mpeg-4(perian) acc stereo audio file that when ever i import into fcp and try and play fcp goads me with an error out of memory thing…. im not having much luck lately, what with this and my legs both falling off……
(the last bit, about my legs, not quite true…it feels like that though

    Hi Phil,
.mpg and .MP4 are not the favorite FC formats. There are few dirty workarounds but the best is that you use MPGStreamclip and convert them in QT movies with the same setting (Audio and Video) than your sequence.
    Cheers,
    Rafael
