Pan and Zooms plug-in recommendations?
Posted by Don Forschmitt on November 18, 2008 at 3:48 pmAbout to do a lot of pan and zooms. The FCP system never seems to give me the finesse I am looking for for easing in and out. Any recommendations for any cost effective plug-ins that are reasonable and easy to use.
Thanks.

Have a wonderful day.

November 18, 2008 at 4:19 pmOur company recently released a free plug-in called Pan and Zoom. It does come with a number of predefined animation curves and hopefully works well enough for what you’re trying to do:

Most of the Pan and Zoom plug-ins out there are great time-savers for “classic” photo animations. If you’re looking for a more sophisticated mix of image animation and special effects Motion should become your friend: it has a short learning curve and lets you experiment more quickly than Final Cut Pro.

November 18, 2008 at 5:52 pmIt requires 10.5.3 if anyone else cares. Sounds like a cool plug-in but I’m running 10.4.11 so I guess it doesn’t apply to me with out quite a bit of time upgrading.
