• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  leopard install not allowing me to do clean install

  Hello,
  I’m upgrading to leopard on one of my computers (Dual 2.5 ghz PwrPCG5…I have made two copies of my previous system on two hd’s)
  during the installing process I thought I should have the option to
  1) upgrade and install
  2)archive and install
  3)erase and install
  However, during the install process I don’t have any of these options.
  will this affect the performance of the system and the pro apps?
  By the way on the packaging that the software came in it says “NEW Version, 10.5.4
  is this the issue?

  You have to select this from the top I believe. Maybe from the Edit menu.

  OR you can simply choose to go to Disc Utility from the OS Install CD and tell it to Erase the disc before it does the install. This will ensure a clean install and it’s what I usually do.

  Thanks. On my second try to install the window with the choices popped up this time, strange.
  hopefully this will be the clean install.
