    Hello,

I’m having a few probs with some DVCam Rushes- If I log the clips then Batch Capture them the Sync is out by a few seconds, but if I set it rolling then hit capture now, the clips come in fine!

We have tried a G5, an MacBook Pro and a MacPro, Version 5.1.4 and 6.0.3 and 6.0.4 with a DSR-40, 11 and 45. Also its only on 2 tapes out of a hundred or so, so I’m thinking camera error and FCP doesn’t like it?

    Any suggestions?

    Any help much appreciated!

If you watch those two tapes straight out to a monitor and bypassing FCP, is it in sync?

Yes, its definately in sync when watched straight out of the deck, I have also checked the channel condition of the tapes in a DSR-2000 and these appear to be fine as well.

If it’s in sync when watching out of the deck, then you have a configuration error in FCP or your drives.

Are you capturing via firewire and do you have firewire drives?

we have tried onto fire wire drives through the internal and a card, its now going onto fiber storage.
