  Edit to tape on Sony HDW-2000

  I’m having an issue whenever I try and Edit to Tape onto a Sony HDW-2000 deck. The sequence is set at Blackmagic HDTV 1080i 50 10bit, and my deck to the same. I am able to stripe the tape in deck no problem, but when I try to play out the Channel Condition light on the deck flicks to red and my picture becomes all green messed up (very technical description I know…)

  Any suggestions on what’s going on? I’ve tried swapping cables over, and various other sequences but with no joy.

  Our deck does this sporadically as well. Of course it always does it when I have a deadline to make. Has anyone figured out the curse of the channel condition!

  I also had this issue with the HDW 2000 until I figured out that the reference needed to be set to input. I currently use the HDW 1800 and set it the same.
