3rd Party Plugin’s on AE CS3
Posted by Big Beres on May 21, 2007 at 11:00 amI’ve tried copying & pasting Cycore FX plugin’s from AE7 to AE CS3, but they don’t seem to work in CS3, has anyone else had this problem, or is this something that just can’t be done.
Or will I just have to wait for CS3 to get to the shops.
Thanks

May 21, 2007 at 2:02 pmThe only version of After Effects CS3 available right now is the beta which to my understanding won’t allow 3rd party plugins. The full version out in June obviously will.

May 21, 2007 at 3:13 pmThe CS3 Public Preview does allow third party plug-ins.
You just need an updated version of the plug-in for Intel-based Macs.
In the case of CycoreFX, which comes bundled with AE, it will be included in the final product. Just like Color Finesse and Keylight.
Other third party developers will announced Intel Mac-ready at ship time, and a few already released them!Adolfo Rozenfeld
