I’ve been fighting these errors all night.
And read a lot of posts on them but no one seems to have really solved it.

I’m working on a project with quite a bit of footage – but only two ten minute sequences. (G5 2.0 processors, 4 G ram, FCP 6.04.)

I thought I had it beat last night when I deleted all the renders and rerendered and avoided what I thought was the corrupt Photoshop file.
Came in this morning, opened up the sequence and everything was as I left it last night.

The next thing I know it happens again this morning. Editing happily (but warily) along and the file not found & out of meomory errors happen. The system shuts down, I restart, and the sequence is gone – another file not found error.

To make matters worse, when I revert, it doesn’t even load the saved sequence I opened this morning, but laods a sequence from fifteen minutes before I stopped last night.

Just reinstalled FCP and I still got another crash.

Judging from the number of posts on this subject I’d suspect somebody somewhere has to be hot on the trail of an answer.
