  AE 8.0 (CS3) Memory preferences Mac Intel

  Hello Everyone.

  I am working on:

  AE 8.0 (CS3)
  Mac
  2x3GhZ Dual Core Intel Xeon Processors
  5 GB RAM

  So the main thing I want to know is – memory preferences (amount what i need to set up) for the best multiprocessing?

  You want to leave everything at default settings.
  The exception are machines which barely have the needed amount of RAM to enable MP. Not your case.
  There’s a newer build of Public Preview available right now.

  So how would i go about managing my memory if i have bare minimum for my amount of cores. ( I have 8 cores but only 9GB of ram )

  9 GB of RAM is enough for an 8 core machine.
  You don’t need to tweak the memory settings.
