    …in a sequence this size with this video card…

    60min Apple Prores
    8 core Mac Pro
    Radeon 2600 video card, our other 8 cores all have 1900s in them…

    by the error, that is an issue…is that really the case?

    interesting thing…since I got that error, and checked the info to verify the video card, i noticed i only had 7GB of ram, i had just upgraded to what I thought was 8GB, but when I looked, i had 2 512 chips instead of the 2 1gb chips, so i found the 1gb chips, threw them in, and noticed that my ram wasn’t stacked correctly either…mismatched pairs, so i remedied that, rebooted, opened the project, didn’t get the effect can’t render error, and now I’m rendering the whole show…seems to be going splendidly…so far….

    so double and triple check things when you upgrade, lol

    (it was early, coffee hadn’t set in yet, and i was still tired…not an excuse, a reason!)
