  Illustrator import issues

  This is probably just something simple that I am missing… When I import .ai files into AE 7 and set them as 3D layers, their position is all out of whack (as opposed to being in whack). For instance, in the viewer, when I select “top” view, I see the side instead of the top. I don’t recall having this problem before. Is there an easy way to get the graphics to position correctly?
