I keep my project, graphics and music on an internal SATA drive separate from the system drive and keep my capture scratch media on an external raid (0).
Is it best to keep all this on the raid?
I think I’m going to move my projects back to the system drive.

I’m still trying to narrow down what keeps causing FCP to keep quitting upon exports.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I think most folks around here keep a project folder on their startups and put everything else on media drives.

    Have a wonderful day.

After 5 or six years, I’ve got system that has worked well for several months.
    I Have four drives:
    System
    Capture Media
    Render Media
    Output

I have a tutorial DVD that covers this and more…all about how to be organized in FCP.

The link is in my signature, or click on my head at the top of the forum.
