When my P2 clips are loaded into the Log & Transfer” browser and I click on one of them the preview window turns grey and there is a message saying “preview is not available for this format”. My clips were shot on HVX200 at 720p30. My work around has been to put each clip in the queue and ingest them and I’m able to do this but I’d rather be able to preview first. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thank you.

YOu know…I have this exact same issue. Oddest thing. ONly happens on occasion. And I try to repair the card and it says it is fine. And so far it has only happened to two cards…out of over a hundred or two dumps.

I can preview the files, but for one reason or another, I can’t ingest them…FCP gives me an error message saying that there’s no data…which of course is weird because I’m viewing the files in the preview window. I didn’t use a P2 card though…I used a FireStore hard drive.

I’m at a loss….I can’t transfer these files to quicktime. Any one have any suggestions??
