Hello. I am new here and in search of something very specific, hopefully the intelligences gathered here can help me determine whether it exists.

I’m curious whether anyone here has seen or heard about a Chroma Key plug-in for Final Cut Pro that would incrementally cycle through the color spectrum with each frame. So if you had a scene with many different colors in it, it would key out each color one at a time and cycle back through.

Considering that there is no functional application for such a thing, i would be pleasantly surprised if someone has already developed it. Any leads, including any FX builder ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks!

There’s not a specific plug in for this, but you could probably accomplish what you’re describing by keyframing the Chroma Keyer built in to Final Cut. What would you like to use the effect for?
