  • Make small clips from a master clips audio in FCP Desperate

    Hello,

I got roped into a HUGE project for work. I need to make individual
clips of japanese sounds. i.e the prof. says 1 . ano 2. agi and so on. I recorded the whole thing as a lesson. It goes to 56 seperate sounds, which is 56 seperate files. Multiply this by 45 lessons….

Is there in FCP or ANY other program that will make clips if I marked them, like chapter markers or anything like that?? I am thinking there has to be. It will take forever to export each one seperate.

    THANKS!!!!

Place a marker at the beginning of the audio, and between every piece of audio that should be separate.

When done, you will see that in the browser there is a triangle next to your audio clip, and if you twirl that down, you will see all the markers.

Drag (or option drag to make copies) all these markers to another bin. These will be individuals subclips. Select all on these new subclips, and use batch export to make individual files (selecting “make self-contained”).
