[paolo mugnaini] “I am now exporting it as 8 bit uncompressed for better graphics quality”
Simply exporting as 8-bit won’t do what you want, because you’re still rendering the timeline first using the DV codec. You’d need to change the compressor in Sequence Settings to 8-bit uncompressed and then rerender before exporting. However, because of the slight squeeze you mentioned, which is because your taking 720×480 and exporting as 720×486, you may need to do things a little differently. The way to deal with that would be to create a 8-bit uncompressed timeline and cut and paste everything from your DV timeline into that one, then rerender. Also, make sure that “distort” on all clips is at zero after cutting and pasting into the new timeline.
