  P2 transfer

  Is capturing footage from a P2 card (we’re capturing from an HVX 200 into FCP studio 2 using the log and transfer process) always a straight digital duplicate of the information on the card, or can information be changed as it’s imported into final cut? For instance, can a setting be fixed to adjust the contrast of an image or change the resolution, as it’s being captured from the P2 card?

  Nope…it is a simple transfer. Wrapping the video and audio into a quicktime wrapper. No changes can be made during the transfer, only after.
