Is there a way to copy all parameters for a layer and paste them to another? i.e. Effects, position, size, blending mode, mask, etc. I am finding that I am having to do these individually.

    thx!

try duplicating the layer with all the stuff on it, then swapping out the duplicate layer’s footage with another file from your project window.

Hey Ugg, Yeah, that really won’t work, because it is the same file, just a different part of that file.

    thx!

Hit UU to reveal all keyframes of the layer, ctrl+alt+A to select all keyframes and
save it as a preset. Name it and on the other layers apply the preset at the same
point of the timeline. I am not sure about the transfer mode, but that’s easy to change.
Select all layers that you want to change the transfer mode of and change on one and
they will all change(if you want the same tranfer mode on all).
