    Hi,

Im sure this is simple but never the less…

Ive just been trying out media manager which is handy…
Ive worked out how to delete portions of unused clips off my hard drive by selecting existing media and checking delete unused but…

What about if Ive got say 15 hours worth of footage and have only used say 20 minutes, how do I delete the footage that Hasnt been used at all. It seems to only delete the trimmed left over’portions’ of clips that have been used.

    thanks.

You can do a “Make Offline” within the Bin in FCP then choose move to trash or remove from disk. This will throw away the clip. The move to trash takes 2 steps to get off your hard drive but that is a level of safety just in case you delete the wrong clip.
