Is there a way to work in a sequence and not have to render every time a clip is moved? The rendering process is really slowing me down because every slight change in the sequence forces me to render again and again.

    Thank you

    Laurent,

If projects are setup properly according to the instructions on the first few pages in the FCP manual you can cut almost anything in realtime without having to render. So, it’s pretty clear you didn’t read the FCP manual before getting started with FCP. Okay, some poeple just don’t like books, so take a look at the following video tutorial and memorize the steps for starting projects and you won’t have the issues you’re having now.
