I use Flip4Mac occasionally to export Windows Media files from FCP. Flip4Mac appears to have a problem sometimes reading fades and dissolve transitions and the like. Even though I render the full show before exporting to Flip4Mac (via QuickTime conversion), I still get sections where the .wmv file shows “unrendered” bits.

This is not a huge problem because I can export the full timeline as a QuickTime file; re-import it, and then export successfully using Flip4Mac. But I just don’t think I should have to go through those extra steps. Can anyone think of anything wrong I might be doing?

I am running FC Studio 2 on an Octocore with Leopard with all the latest and greatest.

    Thanks.
