    Hey all,

I have a waveform monitor/Vectorscope at my disposal and someone wants to make sure their legal is 22 scanlines. What am I looking for on the scopes to get this info?

    Thanks,
    Eli

[Eli Mavros] “their legal is 22 scanlines”
    Hi Eli,
This do not makes much sense for me.
The only thing that come to my mind relating the video signal with the number 22, is the number of non-active lines (Vertical Blanking) in analog PAL. In those lines is where the VITC is inserted. They are also used to carry some test signal.
Some Vectorscopes can select the line to be displayed and analized.

    Hi Eli,
Did you find out that of the “22 lines”?
    I’m really curious about.
