    Hello Pros;
    I am working with lacie external drive with eSata connection. I used FCP 6.0.3 and edit it proress 422 HD 1280×720 30p.
    I have been working on this project for 2 weeks and had no problem with editing till today.

    Some of my media are missing and I can not reconnect them. I get the Reconnect window and see my internal drive name but no file listing is there for me to click and reconnect. The list of the missing media is invisible because I can scroll down, but can not see anything file to reconnect.

    Should I trash the USER OR MAIN FCP preferences?

    Please advise.
    Thanks in advance.
    Javad

    you’ll have to find it manually. Hit the locate button and point FCP to that file.

    Thanks Jeremy;
    Isn’t there a quicker way.
    I have over 100 files?

    Try pointing FCP to the directory and select ‘Choose’.
