  Audio Cracking and popping

  Hey guys i was wondering if there was a quick fix for audio popping and cracking. I am creating an audio teaching CD which is about 30 minutes long and a 10 sec. period of time in the piece there is a few cracking and popping noises. I am working in final cut 6.0.4 i also have access to soundtrack pro… Any suggestions? thanks

  Convert the mp3 files that you are using in your sequence to an aiff using Compressor. Import that and replace the mp3 audio in your timeline.
