  Livetype – why must it render?

  We add name supers using LiveType. Now LiveType is part of the Final Cut family so why when we render the LiveType project in LiveType do we still need to render it when we import it to FCP?

  Are we missing a step?

  If not, is there any way to speed up the rendering of LiveType material?

  If it has an alpha channel, then it has to render over your video in FCP.

  If it does not have an alpha channel, then you have not rendered correctly in the same codec, frame size, aspect ratio as your timeline.
