  OT: another marker tool

  While working on a project here I’d to create a little test app for shuffling around markers.
  I thought it might be helpful for others.
  You can either lift markers collected from all video tracks to sequence level or sequence markers down to video track 1. There are options for the kind of markers.
  But no manual, no help, no website – though it’s pretty self-explaining and free.

  What I forgot to mention is that after conversion is done the clipboard contains a tab text with marker name, comment, marker sequence tc in, marker sequence out and marker duration.

  Ohhhhh, this is a little gem, isn’t it?

  Looks deceptively like a little app I downloaded a while ago called readXML.

  Couple of questions, I need to be able to batch change sequence markers to DVD chapter markers. Talking lots of markers, used for subtitles. Is there a way to do this with your little app? Or is there a way to change them with in an exported XML then reimport them into the seq with your app?

  Matt,

  I did readXML as well.
  Regarding your question it’s not a good idea to create DVD chapter markers for titles – they are limited to 99 and you won’t get more of them into a DVD SP project
  What you can do is to take the clipboard content paste into Excel or a better program and replace some columns to create a STL file.
