  Compressor 3

  I currently have a project that is not yet complete in Final Cut Pro 4.5 HD and I have Final Cut Studio 2 waiting to be installed. I have that pesky “unable to connect to background process” and I was wondering if I custom installed only Compressor 3 from Studio 2, would everything work out fine? I borrowed the discs from a friend for Final Cut HD 4.5 so I can’t reinstall at this point to fix it that way. Thank you very much!
