  Import issue in AE7

  Hi everybody.
  something strange is happening is AE7.
  Everything worked fine until yesterday when a strange message
  appeared when trying to import any kind of footage.
  Actually I can’t even open the window to choose the footage.

  Infact, as soon as I click “File > Import” the message appears and it
  says to contact Adobe Support page because an error occured (0:42).

  Can anyone help me?
  I tried a reinstall but nothing changed.

  Try trashing the preferences file.

  Mac:
  Users//Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/7.0/Adobe After Effects 7.0 Prefs

  Win:
  C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\7.0\Adobe After Effects 7.0 Prefs.txt
