  Exporting text, looks terrible

  Hey,

  I search around for the answer but still couldn’t find something to help me, although I’m sure someone else has had this problem.

  When I export my text into H.264 using Compressor, ( I tried a Psd.*low and high rez, Jpeg. Illustrator, Aff. Efcs.) It looks terribly pixelated. My timeline is 1440×1080, HDV 1080 50i. I simply can’t figure out it out.

  It’s looks perfect on the mac, but after the Compressor export and burned into a DVD using Toast, it’s a heart break.

  I will be up all night trying to figure it out, since tomorrow is D-DAY. hah. Please help me get some sleep!

  If you[‘re going to DVBD you are compressing to MPEG2. Of course it’s going to look awful. It’s smaller, fewer pixels, and highly compressed.

  Well of course its going to get ugly if you encode to h.264 first and then reincode to MPEG2 to make a DVD. What the heck are you doing compressing it twice?
