    Hi All

Thanks to everyone who responded to my dvd authoring queries.

Im cutting some S.D pro res material, and i’ll very soon be adding some HD material to it. (The final product will be SD dvd)
My easy set up and sequences are set to pro res S.D.
Firstly, Im pretty sure that I can just drop the HD footage into my SD sequence and It’ll automatically conform to 4/3..Is this right???

Secondly, With my SD sequences I was advised to check the animorphic box…I just want to confirm, Is this purely for viewing purposes, ie, to make it easier to edit with my new 16/9 footage, or is it actually changing my aspect ratio?

If its for viewing purposes only, then in reference to my first question why would I have to do this seen as my HD footage will have conformed to 4/3?

    Hope this makes sense

    Thanks.

If you are in FC 6, yes.

If you want a 4×3 movie your sequence CAN’T NEVER BE Anamorphic.
Just drop all you footage in a 4×3 sequence.
