compressor prblems
Hi
I am suddenly having problems with compressor when I go to ‘submit’ encode. I have a dialog box telling me Unable to ‘submit to queue‘ ‘Please restart your computer or verify your compressor installation is correct.’I have restarted and fixed my permissions, how do i verify compressor installation is correct?
I have installed Final Cut Server a few weeks ago would this have anything to do with this?any help appreciated

Go through the menus and find the one that says “Reset Background Processes.”
(Or something like that, I’m working from memory.)
Do that, reset the computer again, and give it a try.

Sorry – i meant to say that the above suggestion by John Chappell (see link) fixed my issues when i had the same error. Took just 5 minutes and i was up and running agian (after hours of trashing prefs & restarting)
I advise that you DO select the checkbox to make your qmaster available for sharing when doing the reinstall. Then update your proapps.
