  ProRes clips played back with quicktime issue.

  anyone ever noticed if you open a pro res quicktime in quicktime player it will randomly show washed out footage?

  played back in fcp its fine, but not in quicktime player.

  anyone?

  was it fixed? I’m running an older version of quicktime.

  Do you have the show FCP color compatibility option clicked in QT prefs?

  thank you Jeremy that was it!

  oddly enough only pro res clips have this issue.

  everyone else was consistent and looked as is.

  weird.
