This may seem like an odd question but are there techniques or etiquette to the way in which you lay down your video and audio tracks in FCP for a feature length movie? I know that dialogue should be checker-boarded and divided by mic and character within a scene to give to the sound editor but is there any kind of arrangement for the video? I’ve worked on quite a few projects in FCP but I’m about to work on a very professional piece and I don’t want to make some kind of unprofessional error without knowing. Thanks!

What format will it be shot on and what is the final deliverable?

We’re shooting on the Red, cutting with Prores Proxies, grading with DPX or Uncompressed (depending on budget) and mastering on HDCAM SR with HDCAM downconverts. Worst case scenario we cut and grade Prores HQ and finish HDCAM.
