  Subtitle Generators

  Hi all,

  There had been some posts here about subtitling in general and about ” what is a nice” subtitle generator. My free TextUp is one of them but lacks some features. So here we got a first beta of a new version as a demo.
  The generator will work pretty similar to the free TextUp 2 but will wrap the text to a given horizontal border/box.It also allows to set up vertical alignment.
  This demo will not allow you to change font color, it’s always light green; it also always adds a “Green TextUp demo” text at the start of the text. The light green though is not too green and shows up as a “quite good” white on normal broadcast monitors. With some fantasy you even can get rid of the “Green TextUp demo” text.
  There are still some glitches when using a box (which can be handled inside the generator) and also an issue when font sizes go below 20 which need to be handled outside the generator – latter one seems to be some kind of FCP error, but as always I could be wrong.
